Reviews: Don Scheer is a funny and observant gentleman who writes about the human condition in a lyrical and highly entertaining way. In his novel, The Ponce de Leon of Boca Raton, he captures the whacky human condition that is South Florida. In fact, he absolutely nails it -- especially with respect to those South Floridians of a certain age and those of a more than certain age. The book is hilarious but never nasty.
